About Rick’s Reef

Where old world Florida meets new world taste!

Located on one of Florida’s most beautiful beaches, there are few places with the history of Rick’s Reef.

In 1939 Larry’s Luncheonette, a drive-up hot dog stand, was opened on this site. The original floor is still there.

Over the years the property changed hands many times.  It was the Capt. Zak Restaurant in the 1960’s, Spoonbills, Bobby’s Place and The Reef.

When The Reef closed several years ago one of the local patrons decided he didn’t want to loose his favorite bar. He took over the location, renovated it from top to bottom (preserving the original 1930’s floor) and re-opened in August 2012 as Rick’s Reef.

At Rick’s Reef our primary goal is to exceed our guest’s expectations for both quality and service. We strive to provide a relaxing, enjoyable dining experience in a friendly, fun and family oriented atmosphere.

Rick’s Reef is a fun, casual, indoor or outdoor dining experience that will bring you back time and time again.
